Style: Simply Be Fit and Flare Dress

When it comes to pretty dresses, I'm probably not the first person that springs to mind. But now and then I like to step outside my comfort zone and mix it up. This lace fit and flare dress from Simply Be is perfect for drinks, a meal out or a special occasion.

I love the contrast of the nude lining and the navy lacework on top, it is so pretty. The v-neck makes the line of the dress really nice and it is a perfect midi length.

In my infinite wisdom, I went for a size 24. My thinking was that having no stretch, I'd need to size up. I didn't and this is loose on the waist and bust, so I would recommend sticking to your own size.

The dress also comes in a ravishing red, which again stands out perfectly against the nude lining. Price point-wise this dress comes in at £45 which I think is really reasonable for such a gorgeous occasion dress with intricate detail. A winner in my book!

Thanks as always for stopping by, I've got some swimwear coming up and some gorgeous co-ords and more party dresses! Looks like Beebs is back in full flow!

Style: Wide Calf Boots made easy!

Well it looks like Autumn is finally making an appearance, and it may be time to say goodbye to the flip flops and dig out your winter boots. One of the items I often find a lot of plus size women struggle to find are knee high boots. I know from personal experience, finding the right wide leg boot can be difficult. All too often retailers will often claim to stock wide leg boots, yet they don't have the specific leg measurements on the site, or they simply aren't wide enough.

The Wide Calf Boot Store solve all your problems, with boots categorised by measurement, you can simply measure your calf at home, and start shopping! And that is just what I did. I have a 20 inch calf, so I was able to choose from a wide range of boots. Once you pop in your measurement, the site will tell you what size you are (XL/XXL/XXXL for example).

I went for a classic tan, biker style boot, and low and behold, for the first time in my chubby calved life, these boots were actually loose on me... I KNOW!!

The boots are a soft tan leather, the foot itself is wide fit, along with the calf. There is an elasticated panel which will allow for even more stretch should you need it and there is a little bit of a heel, just for a bit of elevation.

Can we once again congratulate my 6 year old on her fab photography skills! I don't know what I'd do without her, she even directs me, the bossy little pickle!

Style: Sporty Chic with Simply Be

I've been on a bit of a sports luxe vibe lately. I can't get enough of trainers, trainers with everything! (Or sneakers for my lovely American pals). So when I got to chose a couple of plus size dresses from Simply Be, I was excited to pick this sporty number up.

It's super simple, but the little detail to the neckline just makes it. The midi length is fantastic and the lightweight jersey is cool and comfortable. I of course managed to catch some pictures on the only day for the last couple of months that it rained haha! Oh well!

As you can see I've just teamed mine with converse, and my biker jacket to keep the rain off. This would look awesome with a bomber jacket too. I'm wearing the 22 and found it completely true to size. Not too clingy, but fitted enough to show off my figure.

Tomorrow I'm heading to Liverpool for the Curve Fashion Festival, if you're coming along, please stop me and say hi! Whatever you are doing, I hope you have a great weekend.

Style: ELVI - AW16 Box Top

The eagle eyed of you out there may have spotted I am no longer Mrs BeBe Blog - I know, it's the end of an era, but as I am no longer a 'Mrs' I thought it was time for a change. And what better way to kick off my new home than a bit of plus size fashion from the fabulous ELVI

I'm wearing the gorgeous grey box top from their new AW range. It is, at the name suggests, a box cut blouse with embellished collar detail and tie neck. As you can see, it is sheer so if you're looking to wear this causally or for work, you might want to wear a cami top under it.

I've styled it for a more evening, night out kinda vibe with ripped jeans and lace up shoes. I absolutely love the cut and detail of this blouse, it's just a great piece. I went for the 24 but in all honesty I think I could have easily gone for my usual size 22. The cut is generous and loose, so it's really easy to wear.

ELVI have some amazing AW pieces in and have just launched a collab with plus size model, Hayley Hasselhoff packed full of stylish and chic items, definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something fashion led, but grown-up.

I hope the new home doesn't cause too many problems for you all! It's all the same kind of content, same me, just a new name! And as always, thank you for your support and love, you're all bloody fabulous!!
