Style: Valentines Lingerie with Yours Clothing.

Hey guys! Hope you're having a great weekend! I think the spring clean vibes have kicked in here at BeBe Towers as it feels like we've spent the whole weekend shifting, organising and cleaning.

Earlier in the week though I did have some spare time to get some shots in this gorgeous plus size lingerie set from Yours Clothing

With Valentines Day coming up I'm sure you'll be flooded with mail outs and adverts about treating your partners, buying cards etc and I'm sure this could feel like another one of those, but I would like to say, romantic element to one side for the moment, why not treat yourself? You deserve to feel wonderful and this Black and Nude Lingerie set certainly does that.

On a practical note I wore this all day and it was really comfortable, so it's not only a lil bit sexy but it's totally wearable as an every day set. I found it true to size (I'm wearing a 38F and a 22/24 pants), it's lightly padded and gives me a really nice shape.

You might have noticed in some of the pics that my left boob is bigger than the right, something plunge styles always seems to emphasise, and I was a bit bothered about this for all of two seconds, then I gave myself a swift slap around the chops and remembered that nearly every other girl out there has uneven boobs and just like I show my fat body and stretch marks to show people that there is no such thing as perfection, I also need to show my uneven boobs, so here they are in all they glory, along with afore mentioned body and stretch marks and scars.

It's tough sometimes to remember that actually, you're more like everyone else than you think and that these things you see as imperfections just make you part of one big awesome gang. Wearing beautiful lingerie, stylish clothes and accessorising to the max is my way of reminding me that I am worthy, valid and pretty damn special.

OOTD: Between the Lines.

I started writing this post and embarked some long spiel about flattering and the beauty ideals placed on us as fat people. But It's late and I'm tired! In brief what I wanted to say is this outfit isn't "flattering" and I could not give less of a shit.

Fuck Flattering
I'm not here to wear clothes that make me look "good" or adhere to some crazy hourglass ideal, sometimes I like fitted, sometimes I like baggy, sometimes I like chic, most of the time I'm just amazingly comfortable and hopefully, in my own special way, stylish.

See I ended up going into a huge ramble anyway!!

This striped sweatshirt dress from ASOS is pretty much my ideal garment, it's banging, and I've worn it to death over the two weeks I've owned it. I wanted to smarten it up today though, so I teamed it with a longline shirt also from ASOS, jeans (of course) and classic tan accessories.

I'm Wearing: Longline Shirt - ASOS// Striped Sweatshirt Dress - ASOS// Jeans - JUNAROSE// Tan Boots - Clarks// Bag - Vintage// Necklace - Tatty Devine

So yeah, there you go, never wear something because you think you should, or because it will suit your figure, wear it because you like it, because it makes you feel banging or well whatever reason you want to wear it for.

Food: Family fodder with Crown Carveries.

Hello! I hope you've all had a great week? I've been busy working on my Final Major Project for uni, but on Thursday evening I took a well deserved break and headed to the Jug and Bottle on the outskirts of Grimsby for a bit of family time and food.

We were invited along to try some of the dishes from the winter menu. The Jug and Bottle is known for its gorgeous carvery, so we was excited to see what else would be on offer. The winter menu is small but perfectly formed and offers something extra for those who don't fancy the traditional carvery

Dishes on the menu included a chicken balti pie, fish and chips, shepherds pie, gammon and eggs, sausages and mash and half a roast chicken, all pretty traditional pub grub, but what we found most helpful and convenient was that it was all served at the carvery hot plate.

Unlike other places we've visited before, where if you order from the menu separate to the carvery you have to sit around and wait and then try and time it right so that everyone can eat together, here we could all go up at the same time, get our respective dishes and choose our accompaniments from the hot plate. For a family like ours with grandparents in their 60s, parents in their 30s and a sometimes fussy five year old we could tailor the meal to our preferences and enjoy it all together. The children's menu has plenty of choice and just like the adults, Poppy could choose exactly what she wanted from the carvery.

I went for the bangers and mash, but was able to load up on veg, Dad went for gammon, so had chips and mushy peas instead, Michael had the half a chicken and mum went for the traditional carvery as did Pops but in the kids size.

The pub itself has a lovely feel, it's decorated quite traditionally but feels fresh. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We even got serenaded at the hot plate by the lovely server (thanks love).

When it came to desserts,  our lovely server was able to deal with our requests, like me swapping out the custard for cream, and mum basically stripping her banana split to just plain ice cream and banana haha! Oh and yes, that is cheese cake with oreos...

And as you can see, Poppy went for a small, modest dessert...

Overall we had a really great experience at the Jug and Bottle, Grimsby, the food was tasty, the service was exemplary and the meal was excellent value for money. We'll definitely be going back, it's perfect for a nice afternoon drive out with the family when you fancy a bit of pub grub.

You can visit the Crown Carveries website to find your nearest branch.

**I was sent a voucher as means of payment for the meal. All opinions and words are my own**

OOTD: Back to School.

Well, I think this is the longest break I've ever had from the blog! It wasn't intentional but I've just been so busy with uni I've not got dressed, let alone looked good enough for the blog!

I decided to work from uni today just for a change of scene really, so I did in fact get dressed and I'm loving it, so I grabbed some pics before I left.

I have developed a bit of a pinafore obsession to be honest. I just find them really easy to wear. I virtually live in my black ASOS dungarees, but I wanted something a bit more versatile and girly. I first saw this pinafore dress on my lovely Em (Terrible Tumbles) when we did the ASOS Girl Gang Goals Campaign and loved it then, I don't know why I didn't pick it up sooner to be honest!

I'm wearing: Denim Pinafore - ASOS// Roll Neck - ASOS// Backpack - Religion @ ASOS

The pinafore dress was in the sale, and while I was there I picked this backpack up. I'm not usually a fan of backpacks, I like to be able to rummage for all my belongings easily without gaffing around, but for going to the gym and carrying my laptop, this has really been godsend.

Right then, that's enough chatting from me, this script isn't going to write itself! Hopefully I'll see you all a bit sooner this time though!

Style: Shiny shoes and Sweatshirt beauty.

Well hello! It's my first outfit post of the year, took my time didn't I? I'm kicking off with, surprise surprise, a bit of a casual post.

I picked up this gorgeous Anna Scholz print sweatshirt in the sale. I've had my eye on it for ages but didn't have pennies, so when my student loan came in and this was reduced, it was like fate... well, that's what I'm telling myself anyway!

Another of my new acquisitions are these oh so subtle and practical shoes...

I know, they're ridiculous but I couldn't help myself! They're from ASOS and are delicious. So if you are in the market for pointed silver slingbacks then you'll be happy to know they're in the sale!

I'm so bloomin' busy with uni at the moment, I'm just going to try and grab pics when I can and keep you posted on all my outfits as and when, but do not fear, I am still very much here!

Happy New Year! 2016.

A very Happy New Year to each and every one of you! I was going to do a recap of 2015 yesterday but I didn't get round to it! As today is a new day and a new year I've decided to look ahead to new challenges and move forward!

Firstly I'd like to thank each and every one of you for all your comments, interaction, love and continued support and as I move into my fifth, yes fifth (!) year on the blog. I hope I can continue to keep you all entertained and inspired.

I'm not one for resolutions as such, I feel like they place too much pressure on us. What I like to do is think about the best possible version of my life and try and visualise what that might look like (can you tell I've been going to mindfulness sessions?) For me personally, my main aims for this year are to complete my degree and graduate, take a holiday, spend more time with those I love, try and become more stable financially and continue to improve on my mental health.

Doing the things that make me happy with the people I love.

In terms of the blog, I'd like to really focus on my personal style, work with new brands that reflect that and hopefully bring you some more informative pieces, like how to put outfits together, capsule wardrobes and packing, and more around body confidence. I'd also like to cover some more travel, food and health pieces too. How does that sound? Please do let me know on either social media or in the comments below if there is anything else you'd like to see.

Fashion, Travel, Food and Body Confidence.

I'd also love to hear what you're looking forward to this year, let make 2016 one to remember!
