Style: Transitional Triumphs

Well, up here in glorious Lincolnshire the weather has taken a slight turn for the worse and although it's still relatively warm, it's a bit windy and wet, so I've been having to find outfits that I'm not going to boil to death in, but that are going to offer coverage.

And to the rescue come the old kimonos and boots.

This is my 70s prog rock groupie look haha! The kimono is from H&M it is from the accessories section and is basically just a big scarf. It's free size so will work for most folk and is great for layering over dresses and jumpsuits too. I'm wearing it with a plain black cami and ripped jeans.

Mine are from Yours Clothing and they are the only ones I've found that work for me, I tried the Evans ones and ASOS ones that everyone raves about but they just don't sit right on me. Even these ones aren't perfect if I'm honest, but they are better than any others I've found.

The boots are just Michael Hutchence, Mick Jagger sexiness. They speak to my very well hidden rock star, which in all fairness I am definitely not cool enough to pull off, but screw it.

They are from JustFab, who are one of those online subscription service stores. You have to sign up to the site, and they have an amazing selection BUT you do need to remember to opt out every month other they will automatically charge you. But as long as you do that, it's a really cool place to pick up ace shoes and bags.

All props to Pops again for being my little photographer superstar! I've got some great stuff coming up on the blog soon, I can't wait to share them with you! It's good to be back gang Xx

Style: Summer brights with Elomi Lingerie

Hello! How are you all? I've been enjoying the sunshine and some much deserved time off with work with my little Pops. I've got a gorgeous plus size lingerie set to share with you today from Elomi.

I just love the zingy colours and cute dotty pattern of this set. The fabric has a sheen to is and it quite silky to touch. The fit is really great too. I must apologise about the pics, but I had to get Poppy to do them, so they're not great I'm afraid!

The plunge style seems to suit my breast shape, and the lace section has a stretch to it so it moves with your shape and makes it super comfortable. I'm wearing my usual 38F and size 22 briefs, both of which are true to size.

I have a gorgeous swimsuit to bring you from Elomi soon too, once I'm not covered in bruises from a very drunken fall... Which folks, is a story for another time haha!

**This set was sent to me for the purposes of review by Elomi.  Which I did truthfully and with all my on words, check me out!**

Style: Curvy Kate Ladies Day

So, quite some months ago now, myself, Em, Elena and Kate were invited to spend a bit of an away day with the gorgeous Hannah and Chantelle from Curvy Kate. And of course, that's an offer you don't turn down!

I love them SO SO much

Some of you might have caught some highlights from the day on my social media, but I thought I'd do a (VERY) retrospective recap on here and give you a peek of the gorgeous undies I received in the very generous goodie bag too.

Basically there are shots of food and drink (the most important part obvs) and a bit of the V&A, unfortunately we were unable to take pictures of the actual exhibition, but it was so cool. I absolutely love fashion history, so to see so many garments and geek out over the way lingerie and fashion has evolved was amazing.

Crabbers and Janet. Separated at birth.

After our fun day Em and I kidnapped Crabbers and took her back to our apartment where we plied her with prosecco and then took a lengthy march across Kensington to find a McDonalds. A very successful day and evening I'd say!

So on to the undies...

I'm wearing the smoothie prowl set, which colour-wise is way out of my comfort zone but gosh they're bloody lovely. I wore them all day on a day out with Pops which involved lots of messing about on the park and climbing into a very small kids roller coaster and the whole set was super comfy all day!

I do love them them Curvy Kate gals, I hope they still love me after the inordinate amount of time it took me to write this blog post haha! But I did have the most glorious day and although I thanked them at the time, I just want to say thanks again, because stuff like that is once in a lifetime kinda stuff, making memories with your mates, seeing wonderful stuff and eating fabulous food. Dream come true innit?

**I was gifted the set featured in this post, Which is awesome. Thanks Curvy Kate**
