It’s Friday! How about a bit of head to toe New Look to kick off the weekend and maybe give you a bit of shopping inspiration if you’re heading out for a mooch round the high street tomorrow? I’ve got a couple of posts coming up featuring New Look’s plus size range Inspire, all with an autumnal feel!
I absolutely love mustard, so when autumn comes around I go a bit crazy with it! This gorgeous sheer shirt is great for wearing with jeans like I have here, I’m also going to definitely wear it under my dungarees, and pinafore dresses. As with most woven pieces with no stretch, I’ve gone up a size to allow for hips and boobs and if I’d wanted it more oversized I could have gone up to a 26.
I’m really pleased with the jeans, they are still a little long in the rise for me (as most jeans are) but they are definitely more wearable than a lot of the plus size denim I have tried lately. I’m wearing the 22 and found them true to size. They are quite a substantial denim, but they have an awful lot of stretch in them too, so when you’re putting them on you don’t think you’re going to get them on, but they just kind of magically stretch a snap into place. They’re really comfortable and I love the destroyed knees in them!
The boots are actually New Look too, I bought them in the sale last week. I’m a sucker for tan leather! I always scour the sales for bags and shoes that are leather, it’s a great opportunity to build up your wardrobe with quality items at bargain prices! (Forever a bargain queen!)
