Style: ASOS - #GirlGangGoals

SO. This weekend was spent in Manchester, The Curve Fashion Festival was amazing, and a huge part of the fun of these events is getting to hang out with my favourite people. It just so happened to coincide perfectly with a little mission me and my girls had been set by Access All ASOS

Myself, Em and Kate chose outfits from ASOS Curve's AW range and were tasked with creating a #GirlGangGoals vid and pics. So that is just what we did!

Shop the Look: Stripe Top - ASOS// Suede Skirt - ASOS// Shoes - New Look

We all hilariously went for the same top, but our additional choices and styling reflects our own individual aesthetic,  I went for the stripe high neck top and suede pencil skirt, but I'd say all three of us have definitely got that 70s vibe going on.

Head over to Em (Terrible Tumbles) and Kate's (How Kate Does Fashion) blogs to read more about their looks! And that's not all... Want to be in our gang (in a non-pervy, 70s rock star kind of way)? Well, I have two pieces of your choice from a selection of the ASOS AW Collection, all you have to do is complete one or more of the actions below on the rafflecopter thingy widget and good luck!

**This outfit was sent to me by ASOS to feature on the blog, yes I love my job**

Style: New Look Inspire Culotte Jumpsuit.

Hey! So I'm dashing off to The Curve Fashion Festival this weekend, so I thought I'd pop up a quick post before I go!

I've got another New Look Inspire piece to share today. It must have been a little while since I've done a jumpsuit, I mean at least a few weeks! And this one is a little different in that it's a culotte style.

I really like the simplicity of this piece, the culottes lend themselves to the 70s trend so I accessorised with my new platform sandals and vintage bag. Luckily it's been quite sunny here so I just added sunglasses, but when it gets a bit nippy, I think a delicious fur collared jacket is going to look banging with this!

I'm wearing the 22 and it fits beautifully. It's a little clingy around the tummy, which doesn't bother me, but if you'd prefer a smoother look I'd just pop some control pants on underneath it.

I am SO excited for The Curve Fashion Festival, please do come and say hi if I'm not running round like a crazy person haha!

Style: Autumn leanings.

You know when you have a perfect outfit all worked out in your mind, but when it comes to putting in on, it doesn't quite work out how you imagined? Well that's what happened today. That's not to say it's terrible, I'm just not sure it's 'me'.

You know what it is? It's the cream top. I'm not very good at pale colours, they just don't suit me. The whole look is very soft and pretty and I just don't think I can pull it off! The dress is lovely and I think teamed with something like a denim jacket, tights and boots might be a little more suited to my style. I'm wearing the mustard dress from New Look and although I'm in the 24, I really didn't need to be though, I could have stuck to my usual 22.

I Wore: Roll Neck top - New Look// Dress - New Look// Boots - Simply Be (similar)

Event: The Curve Fashion Festival - Manchester.

Hello! Well It's officially silly season! I am super crazy busy, back at uni now for my final year which is amazing and intense and oh so exciting, but I just know it's going to take up such a huge chunk of my time. The blog consultancy business is picking up really well and I'm attending lunches and business meetings all over the place (I feel very official and grown up haha)!

Speaking of work, one of my most recent clients has been the fabulous, Curve Fashion Festival, I've been working with them over the last few months building the blog, transferring all the old blog content over and populating it with lots of fun content. And now after months of hard work, I get to enjoy the actual event, and what an event it's going to be! (You can read the blog here)

Taking place this Saturday, the 26th September at the Manchester Central (formally Manchester GMex) The Curve Fashion Festival is set to be huge! With a mammoth fashion hall featuring pop-up shops from high sreet giants like Simply Be and Evans, through to indy brands like Nicky Rockets and Tess Holliday's very own #EffYourBeautyStandards merchandise range, you can guarantee there's going to be something for everyone. There are exclusive catwalk shows from brands like Missguided, Boohoo and ASOS Curve and industry panel discussions with famous faces such as Tess Holliday and Hayley Hasselhoff.

I am just thrilled to be a part of what is going to be an amazing event, I'll be working on the day, so you'll see me around the venue, please feel free to grab me and say hi! And if you haven't got your tickets yet, then what are you waiting for?!

Style: OOTD - Business Beebs.

I headed out for a swish lunch today with the business club I attend. It was to celebrate female leaders in local industry and anything that empowers women and includes food is pretty high on my list of priorities!

I've gone for a very simple blouse and trouser look. I wanted to look smart but cute and I think I might have pulled it off!

I'd just like to take a moment for the trousers. Smart black plus size trousers are a huge bug bear of mine, and I know from emails I get and conversations with friends, finding a great pair of straight leg/slim fit trousers, with pockets and little stretch they have proven tricky for you guys too. So! These ones from New Look Inspire are amazing. True to size, the fit in the leg is great and the look really modern but smart.

Style: Jord Wood Watches.

Hey! I hope you're all having a great weekend! I think I'm right in thinking this is a first on the blog, I've got a beautiful watch to share today, and not just any old watch but a wood watch, yes, you heard me right!

This unique and super pretty watch is from Jord, who produce handcrafted wood watches. There are several different styles of watch available on the site, this particular one is from the Ely series and is green sandalwood and maple. Each timepiece can be made to your specific wrist measurement and comes in a beautiful presentation box (also made from wood fittingly).

The smooth wood feels lovely against your skin and unlike other watches, I can wear it whilst working and it doesn't bang and clatter on the desk (a pet hate of mine!). If you are looking for a special gift with a real difference, these are just perfect, plus there is free worldwide shipping too. They make such a change from a regular old watch and are so tactile and stylish. If you click on the banner at the bottom of the post you can view the whole range.

Hope you have a great weekend, and I'l see you in the week for more fashion fun!
