Style: Plus Size Lingerie with My Curves and Me

I've got some beautiful lingerie today for you today from the lovely folk at My Curves and Me and I'm wearing the very beautiful Floris set by Panache. Keep your eye out further down in the post for an exclusive discount code

Firstly I have no idea why I look so angry. Some might call this my resting bitch face, haha! It is by no means a reflection of my feelings towards this gorgeous set, I promise!

What drew me to this set on the website was the colours and print, the contrast of the rose ring against the muted grey is just glorious. It's feminine but not girly. The fit is really good as it always is with Panache. This particular set has hipster briefs, which when you have a big tummy just kinda sit under the belly, but that's fine because if I wear a high waisted brief they just roll down anyway!

Sadly it looks like this bra has now sold out, but there is such a huge choice on the website I think there is something to suit most tastes.

My Curves and Me has some amazing deals on Panache lingerie, and the team have very kindly created a discount code for you guys to bag even more of a bargain. You can get 10% off and free delivery when you enter BEBE1 at the checkout!

I always kind of do a little disclaimer at the end of lingerie posts, I guess what I'm trying to say is, it takes a lot of balls to stand in your undies for the world to see, but I also made a choice to do it, so I get people will have an opinion, but, if possible, please don't be disrespectful about me and my body.

This is me.  Every bump, lump and roll of fat. This is the tummy that housed my child, these are the legs that carry me miles every day. They might not be what society deems beautiful, but they're mine and I love them.

OOTD: Khaki Kicks.

Hello! I hope you all had a great weekend! I was back at uni today and despite the three hours sleep I got (thank you darling Poppy) I was rearing and ready to go learn me some Narrative Theory!

Easy breezy jersey separates are what I need on a Monday morning! As you can see it was a pretty nice day here today, if not a little chilly so I just layered up with a little cardigan under the leather jacket and some thick woolly tights under the skirt. You could easily add a big scarf as well for warmth. I always find layering is the best way to go for uni because it is so hot in our building.

I wore: Khaki Maxi Skirt - Simply Be// Grey Cropped Top - ASOS// Biker Jacket - New Look (Similar from ASOS)

A quick note about the the maxi skirt I'm wearing. It's the tall option from Simply Be as I like my maxis to be floor scrapers! I would recommend sizing down though. This is the 22 and it's a little big.

I'm house hunting this week which is both a bit daunting and exciting. I'll keep you posted on social media if you're at all interested haha!

Style: Spring Awakenings...

This afternoon Poppy and I headed next door but one (I known it was such a trek) to our local vintage tea room, Jennies. The occasion was my lovely friend Lynsey's baby shower. The sun was shining and it truly felt like a spring day, so it gave me to perfect opportunity to get my swedish clog sandals out that I've been dying to roll out since I got them.

I've just realised how massive my forehead looks with my hair pinned back... oops! Haha, oh well, it served a purpose, just didn't fancy having my hair in my face today, I'm a bit poorly so needed fuss free hair and clothes!

Apart from the shoes, there's nothing you haven't seen here before I don't think. The jeans are my trusty JUNAROSE bird jeans, the grey marl top is from H&M. I know I always go on about their basics but they are so great, the straight size range goes up to a 22/24 and it's much better size and style wise than their plus size range. The kimono is an old ASOS curve one and the handbag is vintage.

I don't know if this spring-like weather is here to stay but I hope it is. Despite my fuzzy head from this weird cold/cough thing I have, I felt so great today, the weather seriously affects my mood, so I'm hoping the sunshine is here to stay!

So on to these shoes. I must admit when the clog trend came back around a couple of years ago, I wasn't massively on board, they just seemed a bit nunty to me, but I've really grown to love a bit of granny chic, and I can't wait to team them with vintage dresses and my denim jacket for the summer, I've even started a Pinterest board dedicated to styling them, there's loads of inspiration on there.

I would have loved to have splurged on a pair of Swedish Hasbeens, but sadly my budget won't stretch to that so I picked these up on eBay, they're still genuine swedish clog sandals, just without the brand name. I got these for £20, and if you search swedish clogs/clogs/hasbeens you can find loads of bargains, even brand name ones pop up in the sale sometimes too.

The baby shower, by the way, was lovely. My friend was overwhelmed by all her gifts and the cupcakes were bloomin' gorgeous! A lovely afternoon was had by all!

Style: Classic, Chic and all things Sleek.

There's not many garments that scream classic styling as much as the camel coat, and it just happens to be in fashion at the moment too.

I was so excited when this coat arrived, I've been lusting over it for weeks now. And I knew exactly how I was going to style it. I wanted to go classic, it deserves a classic laid back look.

It is absolutely tipping it down here in Grimsby so I had to hide in our alleyway for the pics, but I think they've come out okay! I've style the coat with a classic navy breton stripe t-shirt, boyfriend jeans, heels and contrasting clutch.

I wore: Camel Coat - ELVi*// Breton Stripe Top - Fashion World// Ripped Jeans - JUNAROSE//
Shoes - BHS// Clutch - Curvissa

The coat is a size 22 and runs true to size. It's a soft wool/poly mix and despite the rain, it's perfect for this time of year as it isn't lined so you're not going to get too hot. It's quite a loose, unstructured coat which I really like, I can throw this on with jeans and trainers or over a dress and heels and it's going to look great either way.

MAJOR pout action! HAHA!

The breton top is the perfect addition to this outfit. I sized up to a 24 but I really didn't need to (I should probably stop doing that!) It's really soft and comfortable.

This is pretty much my perfect outfit. It's grown up but not old fashioned. It's smart but casual. It's comfortable but not sloppy. I'd like to wear it every day please?

Style: Introducing Colebrooke for Windsmoor

If you're not familiar with Windsmoor, they are part of the Jacques Vert Group whose strap line is the very aptly named 'Elegant British Brands'. When I think of Windsmoor and all its sister brands, elegance is exactly what I think of.

Windsmoor are famed for their amazing coat collections and gorgeous separates. This season they have launched the Colebrooke Collection, designed for those with a more curvaceous figure and is available in sizes 12-24.

I wanted to style this beautiful printed jersey jacket in quite a modern way, so I clashed the floral print with a stripe (one of my favourite combinations). The crop top and high waist peg legs give it a relaxed feel while the heels keep it dressy.

The jacket itself is a heavy crepe jersey, the quality is exceptional and it hangs beautifully. This is going to look great over anything from your LBD to a pair of ripped jeans and a vest top.

The sizing is spot on, I'm wearing the XL which is equivalent to a 22/24. The flecks of deep coral in the floral pattern make it so pretty and the large bold print is just stunning.

I just know I'm going to get loads of wear out of this jacket, it is really versatile and looks great dressed up or down. The jacket also comes in black and coral and there are some great contrasting pieces available too. As well as the Colebrooke Collection, the regular Windsmoor Collection goes up to a 24 and in even more exciting news, fashion powerhouse Zandra Rhodes is collaborating for a special Colebrooke range too, which I can't wait to see!

What's that? is Spring around the corner?
