I seem to have developed a bit of a thing for blue clothes of late. Not quite sure why! The lovely guys at Scarlett and Jo sent me this dress to review, and look its blue!
The dress is quite a simple piece so I wanted to work with the gold buttons on the shoulder and add a few accessories. I’m not all together convinced it’s worked as a look, maybe I should have kept it simple?
The dress as with all Scarlett and Jo dresses is gorgeous quality, and I usually size up to a 24, but this was quite baggy on me this time, so I think I could have done with my own size, if not a 20 so you could see the fit and flare style of the dress. The blue is really rich and pretty and the detailing to the shoulder is cute. I think it might work better with out the tights, maybe with ballet pumps and a denim jacket for the spring instead?
What do you guys think?

Ohhh this is absolutely gorgeous!! I think the belt works great (I actually thought it came with the dress). Personally I don't think the necklace works, I love it but maybe it's just the shape. Just my opinion of course, you still look fabby!

I think you're right chuck x x
The add-ons work, and it seems like a dress you can wear in various ways. I really like it, but would want a more v-necked shape. I'll look at their site as I like the style!
I love this look! Can I ask where that lovely belt is from?
The belt is from ASOS Curve Hanna, Its about a year old, but they have lots of different styles on there π xx
Thanks guys! Sadly the dress was a little too big for me, but very lovely x
