Plus North Sponsor Spotlight - Scarlett & Jo

We're in to final the week now! Plus North is just days away and its time to look at our exclusive after party host Scarlett & Jo

Stocked exclusively at Evans Scarlett & Jo's shapely creations are fun, glam and super feminine. Since launching at the beginning of this year they have been huge, their now iconic powerfit dresses have just expanded and now boast over 15 different different colour ways and the crochet neck dress (a favourite of mine) is available in 3 different colours.

The after party is set to be an exciting night with a live performance from Britian's Got Talent's Rosie O'Sullivan, and exclusive Scarlett & Jo catwalk modelled by the Plus North Team and friends, disco, karaoke (aka the Becky show) and much more!! Safe to say I'm pretty (VERY) excited.

You can follow Scarlett & Jo on Twitter and Facebook

AX Paris - Laser Cut Out Contrast Dress

Hello! Its AX Paris time again, this month I went for the Laser Cut Out Contrast Dress. I've been looking at this dress for months, I knew I loved it, I love anything with laser cut detail, but I wasn't sure how I would wear it.

AX Paris Laser Cut Out Dress, Plus Size Fashion, Chubby, white girl, awkard pose, fatshion, plussize

I decided to go for it anyway and I'm so glad I did. The cut out detail is really stunning in the flesh, I went for the 22, I think I should have sized up if I'm honest. This is very much a body-con its very clingy, so for my own comfort the 24 might have been better, but I don't think it looks completely terrible?

Close up, selfie, freckles, chubby, white girl, plus size, plussize, fashion, blue eyes,

The laser cut detail is backed with a pale cream which really makes it stand out. The dress is great, but I think wearing as a dress is a little too much for me, so I tried "beckyfying" it by dressing it down with leggings and pumps and my trusty blazer jacket..

I really like the finished look, simple, clean but with the stand out detail of the laser cut.

JUNAROSE - August 2013

You might recall a few weeks ago I told you all that myself along with several other European bloggers have excitedly been made Brand Ambassadors for JUNAROSE, part of which means I get to chose some items from the site every month, which is amazing!

So for my first outfit I chose these gorgeous distressed jeans. I've been after a pair of ripped jeans for ages but never saw anything that I loved, that was until I saw these. The colour of the denim, the rips, the slim fit. Just perfect.

I opted for the size 24, after reading the sizing chart I thought it would be better for my hips, I'm not sure now to be honest, I think I should have stuck to my own size, but these are still a good fit, just a bit loose.

The quality is beautiful, they're a really soft denim with a good amount of stretch in for comfort. I can see me wearing these dressed up with heels or going completely casual with cons style pumps and chunky jumper.

I'm really impressed with my first JUNAROSE item, apart form the size problems which where my own fault, I'm really impressed with the quality, I'm so excited for next month!

Plus North Premier Sponsor Spotlight - Evans

Eeeek with just over a week to go its time for another Premier Sponsor Spotlight, and its the turn of our final day time premier sponsor Evans

I think I'm safe in saying Evans are our longest established plus size retailer, founded in 1930, Evans became part of the Burton group (subsequently Arcadia) in 1971. With over 300 stores and shipping to over 100 countries and huge collaborations with people like Beth Ditto and design duo Clements Ribeiro their impact is huge.

We're thrilled to have Evans on board for a 2nd year and this time as a Premier Sponsor. I'm really excited to see what they bring to the catwalk!

ShoesDayTuesday!

So I'm still frantically trying to see if I can get my .com back but in the mean time, lets focus on the positives!! A couple of weeks ago now I was on twitter when I saw a competition pop up in my timeline. I'm not one for spending hours entering giveaways, but if I see one that takes my fancy I'll give a little RT.

The competition in question was being run by Upper Street, they offer "made to order shoes, designed by you", and it really is what its says on the tin. Using the templates on the website, you can pick and choose every element of your shoe from style, heel height, embellishments, materials and colours and more importantly width!

I digress, so anyway, all you had to do was send a pic of the shoes you were wearing that day. I was wearing these bargain shoes from ASDA of all places!

Prize winning shoes indeed!! So that very same I day I found out I had won, I was sent a voucher to go online and create my shoes.. Off I toddled, it was a really quick process, I'm one of those people who just make snap decisions and follow my gut and my gut was telling me flat for practicality, but over the top cuteness for the rest.

The process was really easy, a tonne of fun and I absolutely loved it. I'm not going to lie these shoes are way, way out of my own price range, but if you are looking to treat yourself, maybe looking for the perfect wedding shoe, something amazing for a special occasion or just want something that is completely tailored to you, I can highly recommend them. The site was so user friendly and the shoes made form scratch arrived in two weeks, beautifully packaged, and were everything I hoped they'd be...

OMG They're yellow for crying out loud. I LOVE THEM!!

So pretty...

Honestly, this is probably a once in a lifetime thing for me, when am I ever going to have that sort of money again, so these are going to be loved, worn and cherished!!!

Dresses and disasters...

Today's post is brought to you by the words disaster and despair. So I'm on twitter when a lovely blog reader tells me there's something wrong with my home page... It turns out my domain was up for renewal yesterday, I received no reminder email offering me the chance to renew my subscription, and quite foolishly I hadn't noted the date in my diary... So some shithead (believe me I could have used a much stronger term than that) company went and bought my lovely .com, so here I am, coming to you from my shiny new www.mrsbebeblog.co.uk

To say I'm a bit upset is an understatement, I've worked hard to get where I am but I'm hoping this wont effect me too much and I'm hoping I can try and get my hands on my .com, but I won't hold my breath. Anyway guys, onwards and upwards, I wore a beautiful dress today, so not all is lost!

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

I love my vintage finds, I always keep an eye on eBay, vintage fairs and charity shops and snap up any plus size vintage I can find as it's so hard to come across.

This particular dress was one of my eBay finds, it took a while to arrive and it turns out that's because it came from Lithuania! It's a lovely fresh green with teeny tiny polka dots. I love the pleated skirt too!

Pretty huh? So I'm going to sign off and cry myself to sleep over my domain woes, but thank you all for your support already and spreading the word of my move to .co.uk it's very much appreciated :)

OOTD: Back in Black

I make no secret of my love of black. You cannot beat a really chic, top to toe black outfit some days. I picked up this tshirt with sheer lacy panels from ASDA yesterday in the sale for £5, its so cute!

I just wore it with a plain black maxi skirt and flip flops.

I look half asleep for some reason.....

Oh.... Look you guys, I managed to actually do a really quick OOTD without chewing your ear off!!!
