Pina-fore you!

So yesterday I posted my spring trends post and I got loads of inquiries about the pinafore dress I wore in the geek chic look. I have blogged it a couple of times before you can see it here and here.

Unfortunately from what I can tell on the site it's sold out as the product listing is still there, but I can't bring up any of the size/colour options.

So I decided to have a look around and see if I could find any alternatives. It was pretty tricky and there were some gorgeous ones in places like River Island, the G21 range at Asda and Topshop, so I'm hoping it will filter through to plus size brands soon, but in the mean time this is what I came up with.

This first one is from Curvissa and in my opinion the best of the 3 for the pinafore style...

This beautiful pinafore dress is 100% cotton and goes right up to a size 30 and prices at £35 it's really reasonable.

This next dress is from So Fabulous, and although its not strictly a pinafore, I thought it could be adapted and worn in a more casual way with a T-Shirt under.

This jersey dress is really pretty and available in sizes 14-32, its also £24 in the sale at the moment!!

Ok, my third and final dress is mega pretty, but mega pricey, so you need to be in LOVE with it to make and investment I guess....

This is Carnegie Strappy Dress from the Project D Collaboration with Simply Be, it goes up to 32, which is great, but priced at £90 I understand it might be out of some peoples (including mine) price range.

So there you go, Like I said, I'm hoping they'll be lots more pinafore/dungarees type options making their way onto the plus size market, fingers crossed!!
