Review: Clarks Chorus Voice
20:13
Hello! How are you all? I've spent a very cold but enjoyable weekend at Butlins with the fam, babba BeBe absolutely loved it, which is really the most important thing (although I must say the rapids at the pool and the Sesame Street stage show pretty much rocked my world too!)
So anyway, I was contacted to see if I'd like to review a pair of Clarks shoes, I'm a huge Clarks fan, in fact my first ever post was about my very much loved and still in use Clarks satchel bag. If I want comfortable, good quality, hard wearing shoes, Clarks is my go-to place. In the last 5 years or so, they've become so much more than that though, with fashion forward lines, ranges with a vintage vibe, they really do have it going on. (did I just say, have it going on? Gawd)
So yeh, moving on... I was sent the beautiful Chorus Voice suede court shoes to review and much to my squuuueeeeee-y delight they are lined with Liberty Art fabric, which, as a huge Art Nouveau lover is a bit special.
I kow, I know it's on the inside, but sometimes it's the little things, the attention to detail that make a product feel really special.
The shoes themselves come up quite high on the foot, which I think gives them a real 40's look which I love, the suede is a really subtle heather shade, not too purpley, more a light grey with a hint of lilac. I ordered the D width fitting which I found more than generous, but I don't have particularly wide feet, so they do come in an E too if you need a bit more room in your shoes. The soles are paddded and are really comfortable.
We were way at the back of the camp and I walked the length of it and back when we went out for the evening and found them really comfy, they felt secure and the heel height was just right. I wore mine with leggings, my ASOS curve swing dress and duck print Primark jacket...
Are you a Clarks lover? I still buy cheap fashion shoes, but when it matters, I like to spend that little bit more for a quality product. Do you agree?

These are gorgeous! I'm currently looking for a good pair of grown up shoes that I can wear all day, every day, for my new job, and as a doc marten kinda gal, it's a bit difficult! But these do look really nice!
ReplyDeletelove the shoes i wish i could wear heels ;-( . hope you enjoy butlins i went 3 times last year lol and planning more trips this year just fab for the kids ;-)
ReplyDeleteI am so very picky about my shoes. I have an extremely high arch, so comfort is what I look for. With that said, these look amazingly comfortable!! Price really is never a concern for me as I want them cute and stylish regardless of the brand. Ok ill admit it though, in another lifetime I hope to own and be able to walk in some CL :)
ReplyDeleteThey are so gorgeous! Such a lovely colour, a great shape and the height of the heel would be just about right for me. So gorgeous xx
ReplyDeletei love clarks! although since my foot surgery, they're a little narrow in the toebox, but I never used to have that problem. I love this pair you got! So many ways to wear it!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap those are gorgeous. I love Liberty fabric, it's so pretty. The shape at the front is lovely <3
ReplyDeleteDefinitely need to get myself on Clarks radar! xx
ps. I'm glad you had a good weekend love, you deserved it xx
They are boo'ful! I can't wear heels but if I did, those would fall into my possession! xx
ReplyDeleteYou're right they are pretty! I love vintage looking stuff and can't wear more than 3 inches for an all day stint - will deffo be looking in Clarks on my next shoe mission
ReplyDeleteClarks' shoes aren't wide enough for me, I wish they'd offer extra wide fitting. Cute shoes (even if I can't wear them!)
ReplyDeleteLoving these shoes! Never bought a pair of shoes from Clarks as always thought them to be a bit bland, but these are really great. I've just looked at the website and I think there were possibly 12 different pairs I would of bought without even thinking!! And have you noticed the bags inthe matching fabric as the lining......gorgeous!!http://www.clarks.co.uk/p/20354612
ReplyDeleteThey look so nice on you Becky! I really like that colour as well as you can wear it with a lot of colours! xx
ReplyDeleteI love Clarks! They are comfortable and last forever. When I was teaching and on my feet all day, I wore them all the time. I would buy maryjane flats that had nice padded soles. They have a Clarks outlet near me...well at least an outlet that features Clarks and it's great for finding deals.

Do you know what, they look 100 times better on your feet than in the Clark's picture! Gorgeous - really want them now. They will be fabulous with so many outfits, Avril x
