I die for Tie Dye...

God that was a bit of tenous title wasn't it? I can hear a collective groan! Swiftly moving on, I had a spare £15 knocking around in my PayPal account, although to be fair the way things are looking now I shouldn't have spent it, but hey, I'll look stylish when they evict me....

I got this Tie Dye midi dress from New Look, it's rather bloody marvellous I think!

The dress is snug, it's meant to be to be fair, but if you're not a fan of tight, it might be worth sizing up. I did however stick with my usual size 22. The material is really soft and stretchy and I love the midi length, I can't wait to wear it in the summer with some great sandals or wedges... Speaking of summer, it's sunny outside, and this pleases me greatly. Does the weather effect your mood?

  1. I've been eyeing that dress up for a while...mainly because the teenage Sara in my head will always feel a pull towards tie dye, wax jackets and DMs (yes, I was that sort of 90s teen). Couldn't decide if it was the ME I am now...your post has convinced me that it is!!

  2. I love that length! Looks great on you. I always worry about buying short sleeved things for my site as so many women worry about showing their upper arms. Shane we are all so body conscious! ! And cant just enjoy lovely clothes.

    1. It's so difficult for buyers and business owners like yourself Jan, you get conflicting messages, a lot of plus size women don't like to show their arms, but there's loads of us who don't care too! And yes it's fashion first for me, sod flattering! X x

  4. In love with this dress, I think Em, boombands wore it to BPSFW and I loved it on her and you. Love the print, the length, the shape. Although I am not sure if I will look good in a body con, purely as I am belly heavy! x

    1. Oh I didn't realise it was the same one! Awesome! I guess it depends on how comfortable you are showing your belly off too, I know how tough it can be, I was a little nervous, but sometimes a dress is just too awesome to care! Lol x x

  7. Lovely dress - the print reminded me of an ultrasound scan weirdly?! I think everything just looks like babies to me at the mo! Lol. Anyway, it looks awesome, and also love the length - you don't see that midi length around much - fab for boots in autumn/winter and sandals/wedges in summer :-)
Also, the sunny weather ABSOLUTELY changes my mood - I always feel brighter, more optimistic and less anxious when the sun is out! xxxx

  9. Tried a similar dress on today but it was in the 'normal' range so only went up to an 18, could've done with a 20 but I haven't seen anything like it in any plus size ranges. Then again, I live in a small town xD

  11. You look VERY stylish! (Your comment about eviction made me laugh out loud ... i know that feeling at the moment! Doom!) I love the length of the dress on you as well. I never would have tried this being too scared about its tightness, but i might give it a go after seeing it on you!

  13. I've seen a similar one in Primark, but I think the sleeves were 3/4 length. I couldn't decide if I liked it's print or not, kinda reminded me of spew-clouds (if there was such a thing!). It looks lovely on you.
