OOTD: Deja Vu

Those who follow me on twitter might be aware I'm not tip top at the moment, just can't seem to clear the fog of my depression at the moment, so Mr BeBe took me for lunch today. It was quite a sunny day today so I wore my new Dorothy Perkins maxi skirt with a vest and denim jacket... Then I realised this is one of my "go to" outfits, when I'm not feeling great or just want to feel comfortable I seem to wear a version of this outfit, which, for a blogger probably isn't a good thing. But today, I was just a girl out to lunch with her husband and her little girl, and for that purpose, it served me well....

What I wore....

Denim Jacket - South at Littlewoods (past season)

Vest - Love Label at Littlewoods (past season)

Skirt - Dorothy Perkins

Leather Sandals - Handmade in Turkey

See!? Hull can be beautiful, we love taking the train into Hull, there's great shops, restaurants, and museums, we saw the Andy Warhol Exhibition at the Ferens Gallery today, I wasn't blown away, but there was some cool pieces, I guess as with all art it's about personal taste.

So what's your Deja Vu outfit? The one you reach for when you just need something comfortable, but makes you feel great?

  1. Wow, you look amazing! My Deja Vu outfits are my Wallis dresses - I have so many and wear them pretty much every day. I just can't find a comparable fit and shape anywhere else right now. Sending you big, big hugs xxx

  3. My dejavu outfit of the moment is similar to yours. A maxi skirt (plain, stripy, black, bold colour, whichever) a vest top and a little cardi of varying colours. Comfy, but i feel quite on trend without having to make any effort, which always a bonus when you have a 2 year old to sort out! You look absolutely gorgeous in this outfit. As a sufferer of depression i know the fog you refer to, and i hope it starts to clear for you very soon. xx

  6. Jeans, t-shirt, cardigan/jacket. If I'm ever feeling tired etc, the jeans get dragged on and the baggy the t-shirt the better. Hull does have it's parts. My best friend was at Uni in Hull.
