OOTD: Wedding fairs and work wear

As you might know, my work wear is a tad different to other folk! I've always been a fan of vintage styling, and like to inject a little into most of my day to day wear, but I'm a bit of a vintage-ho if I'm quite honest. I like anything ranging from the 20's right through to the 90's dependant on my mood!

But when I'm working, my vintage style tea party business dictates I stay firmly in the 40's & 50's, being the tomboy that I am though, I normally air towards rockabilly styling because I can bang a pair of jeans on then!! Yesterday I was promoting the business at a wedding fair and this is what I wore.....

Cardigan - George @ Asda
Tunic - New Look Inspire
Jeans - Jeffrey and Paula for Simply Be
Pumps - New Look

  1. Love the hair!

Although would love to see this without the jeans, with tights and cute vintage heels. ;)

  3. I agree with Nelly - some nice T-bar heels would be lovely - although not for being on your feet all day at a fair...

  4. I am so like you with the jeans thing, I will stick on a pretty dress and a cardi and jeans are just so much more comfortable to go with it! <3

  5. adore this look....and oh the hair, so pretty! I think for me, anything between 1920 and 1960 fashion wise is my favourite sort of vintage looks....I really do wish I lived in an era where everyone wore a hat!

    1. Wouldn't it be lovely? I'd like to live in the 20's and be friends with the Elliot sisters... (did you ever watch house of elliot?)

  7. I love this look on you. I can sew a bit and have made circle skirts and petticoats which are great fun to dress up in, although I don't think I pull it of as well as you do! Please stop blogging so much as you're making me feel guilty! :)
